Traditional Bizen ware kiln and ceramic heritage in Japan
Modern table setting with handmade ceramic plate

Our Story

Hiroki, the founder of Haremono (ha-reh-mo-no), grew up near historic Bizen in Okayama, Japan, where this ceramic tradition has existed for generations.

Compared to the modern ceramicware used in everyday life, Bizen ware always felt entirely different through its natural texture, raw surface, and distinctive appearance.

As he grew older, he began to see both the beauty of the tradition and its distance from everyday modern living, often valued more as art or collectibles than ceramicware for daily use.

Haremono was created to bring this tradition into everyday life, shaping pieces for contemporary routines while maintaining the essence of the craft.
